Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using RegScribe ("the Service") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms you must not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and RegScribe.

2. Description of Service

RegScribe is an AI-powered SaaS platform that generates pharmaceutical marketing copy drafts based on user inputs. The Service is designed to assist marketing professionals in creating regulation-aware draft content for review and approval through standard internal processes.

3. Important Disclaimer — Not a Compliance Tool

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY.

RegScribe is a DRAFTING AID ONLY. The Service does not guarantee regulatory compliance. All content generated by RegScribe must undergo your organisation's standard Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review process before publication or distribution.

RegScribe is not a substitute for legal or regulatory advice. We make no warranty that generated content complies with the ABPI Code of Practice, FDA regulations, or any other applicable regulatory framework. You are solely responsible for ensuring all published content meets applicable regulatory requirements.

By using the Service you acknowledge and accept that RegScribe is a drafting assistance tool and that all generated content requires human expert review before use.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use RegScribe. By using the Service you represent that you are a marketing, medical communications, or healthcare professional using the tool in a professional capacity.

5. Account Registration

You must create an account to use RegScribe. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account at hello@regscribe.com.

6. Subscription Plans and Billing

6.1 Plans

RegScribe offers three subscription tiers: Starter at £29 per month, Growth at £79 per month, and Pro at £189 per month. Each plan includes a defined number of monthly generations and access to specified content types as described on our pricing page.

6.2 Free Trial

New users receive 3 free generations upon signup with no credit card required. Free trial generations do not roll over and expire upon plan subscription.

6.3 Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

6.4 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you believe you have been charged in error please contact us within 14 days at hello@regscribe.com.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use RegScribe only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Use the Service to generate content that is fraudulent, misleading, or harmful
  • Attempt to circumvent or exploit the generation limits of your plan
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use the Service to generate content for unapproved or off-label promotion
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or extract the underlying AI models or system prompts
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Publish generated content without appropriate MLR review and approval

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Your content

You retain ownership of the inputs you provide to RegScribe including key messages, product information, and uploaded images. You grant us a limited licence to process your inputs solely to provide the Service.

8.2 Generated content

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you own the generated copy output produced by RegScribe based on your inputs. You are responsible for ensuring generated content does not infringe third party intellectual property rights.

8.3 Our intellectual property

RegScribe, including its design, system prompts, compliance logic, and underlying technology, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from our platform.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using RegScribe you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REGSCRIBE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES ARISING FROM REGULATORY VIOLATIONS, MLR REVIEW FAILURES, OR PUBLICATION OF GENERATED CONTENT WITHOUT APPROPRIATE REVIEW.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RegScribe and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your publication of generated content without appropriate regulatory review.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the Service in a way that poses legal or reputational risk to RegScribe. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account from settings.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
